The Flutter Express offers two convenient round-trip services to New York City & Boston. Tickets for riders traveling for their healthcare appointments may purchase “Healthcare Seeker” tickets for $79.00, and family members, caregivers, and companions may purchase “Companion” tickets for $85.00.
The New York City Service is from East Greenbush, Albany, and Catskill/Hudson, traveling directly to New York City, and stops near Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NYP-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, and other key healthcare destinations.
The Boston Service is from Albany and East Greenbush, traveling directly to Boston, Massachusetts, and stops near Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, and other key healthcare destinations.

The Flutter Express offers convenient transportation from East Greenbush, Albany, and Catskill/Hudson, NY to New York City and Boston on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
We provide comfortable, stress-free, and affordable transportation for people of all ages traveling to leading healthcare facilities, along with their caregivers, family members, companions, and support persons.

Ticket pricing is for same-day round-trip transportation. If you travel to New York City or Boston on one day and return on a different day, a separate ticket must be purchased for each day of travel.
These reduced-rate tickets are available directly through our website and are made possible with support from Flutter Club, Inc.

New York City service
The Flutter Express departs from East Greenbush (Defreestville CDTA Park & Ride) at 6:00 a.m., with additional pick-up stops at 6:30 a.m. in Albany (Crossgates Mall) and 7:15 a.m. in Catskill (NYS Thruway, Exit 21) before traveling directly to Manhattan.
Our primary Manhattan stops are located on the Upper East Side and include NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and MSK Kids.
The Flutter Express also provides transportation to healthcare facilities throughout Manhattan. Whenever safely and legally possible, we will drop riders directly at their healthcare facility or as close to the entrance as NYC traffic, street restrictions, and conditions allow.

Boston service
The Flutter Express departs from Albany (Crossgates Mall) at 6:30 a.m. and East Greenbush (Defreestville CDTA Park & Ride) at 7:00 a.m., traveling directly to Boston’s Longwood Medical Area.
Primary stops include Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Yawkey Center for Cancer Care, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Joslin Diabetes Center, and a stop near Boston Children’s Hospital.
Transportation can also be coordinated for riders traveling to Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Medical Center, Ronald McDonald House, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, The Inn at Longwood Medical, Hilton Garden Inn Boston Brookline, Shriners Children’s, and other hospitals, specialty centers, physician offices, and outpatient healthcare facilities throughout Boston.

To remain sustainable, affordable, and responsive to the needs of our riders, The Flutter Express operates a range of vehicles based on passenger bookings, including 7–8 passenger vans, 12–15 passenger Sprinter vans, and 24–56 passenger buses.
Our service operates even when only one rider is traveling. Vehicle size may vary from trip to trip based on the number of passengers booked.

The Flutter Express is a not an emergency or medical transportation service. Our service is comparable to a traditional passenger vans or buses used for commuting or general entertainment purposes.

The Flutter Express is not an ambulance, ambulette, or medical transport vehicle.
It does not include onboard medical personnel, treatment services, or medical equipment.
Riders must be medically stable and able to travel independently or with a caregiver or companion.
